Hotkeys

Keybindings (Hotkeys) provide a way to bind specific in-game actions or commands to individual keyboard keys or key combinations. By using hotkeys, you minimize the need for manual text input, which is especially valuable in fast-paced or high-stakes situations. Complex actions—such as equipping gear, activating abilities, or performing multi-step sequences—can be reduced to a single keystroke. In essence, hotkeys act as a customizable interface layer between the player and the game engine, allowing for a more responsive user experience.

  1. Open Smudgy and click on Automations in the top left corner
  2. In a new window, click on the Hotkey (D-Pad) symbol
  3. On the right, you’ll see the panel for creating a Hotkey. Begin by naming your Hotkey, then click “Click to Record” and, when the system is listening, press the key or key combination you want to assign. This will define the sequence that triggers a specific behavior. Keep in mind that once a Hotkey is created, the bound key will execute only the action you’ve assigned to it.
  4. Save your changes
